This is a replica of a woodcut from 1720 from a book called ‘The History of Witches and Wizards. It shows two witches handing the devil small dolls, likely Corp Creadha, or clay bodies, which were used much like voodoo dolls, while fire breathing monsters fly overhead.
It was carved using a CNC (Computer-controlled cutting) machine on local highland oak wood by The Grumpy Forester.
